Security issues

2.3 billion euros damage per year due to cargo theft.

EU security parking obligation (secure parking spaces for trucks every 100 km) is not being met!

Driver shortage

Just under 20,000 fewer drivers per year out of 480,000 professional drivers (2021) in Germany.

Too few young people in training.

Parking space shortage

BASt study 2018: "79% more parking spaces are needed at commercial truck stops!"

There is a shortage of 17,116 truck parking spaces.

Innovative and environmentally friendly

More parking space without further surface sealing

The TruckTower will be built on existing parking spaces so that no additional space is required and the environment is protected.

The average area required for 100 new truck parking spaces is approx. 5 ha.

e-Loading stations for cars and trucks

Intelligent energy management enables an effective use of the solar energy generated, e.g. for the charging infrastructure of electric vehicles.

In the public sector there is a need for 700,000 to 1 million normal loading points.

Security against theft

Camera-monitored access system, 24/7 monitoring of the the entire interior. Due to its functionality, all requirements for security parking spaces are met.

According to economic data, the damage caused by cargo theft in 2018 amounted to approximately 1.2 billion euros in Germany and 8.2 billion euros throughout Europe.

CO2 Reduction

If trucks have to search for a parking space for a long time, often drive off and onto overcrowded parking spaces, CO2 emissions increase.

Assuming a truck leaves the motorway five times per evening for a parking space, this corresponds to approximately 10.6 kilograms of CO2, extrapolated over one year this corresponds to CO2 emissions of more than 3,000 kilograms of CO2 per year and vehicle.

This corresponds to an additional consumption of diesel of over 1,000 litres per year / vehicle.
